what could i use or put on it to make it heal up better %26amp; quicker? How do i get my Ingrown Toenail to heal up ?
I had that same procedure done when I was twelve and I still have sensitivity on my toes sometimes. (I'm 19 now). It's because they pack down a chemical so the toenails will not grow back and become a bother again. I would advise you soak your foot in warm water, then pour hydrogen peroxide on it, rinse with cool, and then douse a little bit of rubbing alcohol at the site. This is what my foot specialist told me to do when I had the procedure done. It healed within a week and I haven't had too many issues since. Some sensitivity still, but not too terrible. Make sure not to do the peroxide/alcohol thing too much. Once a day or even once every other day. But soaking it will help. Make sure the water is clean, though. Tea tree oil applied to the skin and nail will kill the bacteria :)
