How do you take care of an ingrown toenail?

I think my toenail is ingrown and it keeps bleeding what should i do?How do you take care of an ingrown toenail?
I've had a few, they hurt like crazy!!! Soak it in hot water with epsom salts. This will soften your skin. Then try to get it out. Then soak it in water with the salts on and off for the next few days. Sometimes it is best to go to the doctor. How do you take care of an ingrown toenail?
or file Never dig it out. Never cut into the corners, that's how you get ingrown toe nails. If you have any toe nail left, cut out a ';v'; in the center of the free edge then put cotton underneath the sides of the ';v';. That will release the pressure at the sides of your toenail until it can heal. If you already have an infection then keep your feet dry, wear white socks, soak in epsom salts and watch for red streaks because this can be blood poisoning and you'll need to see your Dr. Always cut your nails straight across.
I hate to say it this way but I get them all the time.Try and cut them out yourself. It's going to hurt but It would hurt more if You leave it in there.
You will have to have your doctor dig it out. and when it grows back leave it long. My mom had that done and she had to keep it wrapped for a few days. She said it hurt a little.
It needs to grow out, don't cut them so short. Jello helps keep nails healthy and growing.
