Is there any way to fix an ingrown toenail?

I have the beginning of an ingrown toenail. It's starting to make the toe swell a bit, but it's not painful yet. Is there any way to prevent going into the doctor for this?Is there any way to fix an ingrown toenail?
Everyday gently pry the nail over the skin until the nail grows out a little. I used the blunt ent of a nail file to do this. Next time don't cut the nails so short and don't round them off too much.Is there any way to fix an ingrown toenail?
i had an ingrown toe nail, its easier to just go 2 a foot docter, they should give u antibiotix. and if u actually do need surgery, theres nothin 2 worry about i takes about 15, 20 minutes, plus its frosen so it doesnt hurt. getin surgery is the best way, dont pick at it, or ull screw up ur toe.

nope...unless you remove it yourself

prevention: wear a proper sized shoe please, but some ingrowing toenails have got no specific cause, but the majority of them is due to shoes that fit too tightly
Yep...I agree. Do this right after a bath/shower when the skin is soft. Good luck. This can be painful if not caught early and dealt with.
